Batam Trip'08- First Day
There's too much to say and I'm really super lazy. So just a small portion of the total amount of pictures to describe our 1st day in Batam where we Cableski for the 1st time.
Early in the morning
Everyone, full of zest and anticipation.
Napped 45mins on the ferry and we landed our foot on the island of Indonesia.

Cableski, not easy but it was hell lots of fun. We can spend the whole day just learning how to stand properly on the board. Yiyong was No. 1 to stand, at 2pm after lunch and went almost one whole round. I managed to stand at 230pm but didn't manage to go one whole round. Wk was next who stand but dropped at the 3rd part of the pond.
My arms, neck and shoulders feels like it doesn't belong to me anymore after the whole day of tension, lock arms and pulling. It was the 1st time swimming felt like a torture 'coz I always fall in the middle of the pond and have to swim damn far just to come back with the board.
With our guide Didi, he was the one on their website doing the jump and flips. He's got a hotbod, wakeboarder's body. He went into the water upon our request to see his stunts shown on their adverts.
We were famished after a whole day of cableskiing (11-5pm)
The taxi driver brought us to this place called Golden prawn for seafood dinner. Ordered like 8 dishes only S$125 for crabs, prawns, fish, veg, omelete, chicken etc.... I can't really remember already. We ate too much.

The night we had a Xmas present exchange. Haha... I don't know why, Baby and I, Jarrel and Celin, both couples drew each other, the cousins Kaay drew Yy, the 'enemies' Wk drew Cc. In the end we had to draw lots again 'coz of the couples picking each other.
I got a cardholder from Cc and baby got New Moon, the Twilight sequel from Yy =D
The night we were all engrossed in Saboteur, we ended the night at about 2plus am and everyone just zonked out.
I WANNA GO CABLESKI AGAIN!!!!!!!

Hope to update with the other parts of our trip soon, seems like I don't have alot of time to do so. Its 430am, my hair is almost dry, I'm gonna ZzzzzzzZ. Good nite!
