Will you choose to be with somebody who is damn rich and live a life of a tai-tai but you don't even know whether its the love for him or his money.

OR?

Be with the person you love, live a non-luxury life, work work work till you retire.

Personally, I came across a great example of the 1st option which lead me to a big discussion with my parents and left me thinking about it.

This girl, let name her Mary. She married a guy, 16years OLDER and he comes in a bundle with 2 kids. Ya. Divorced... Mary was born in a family of 5. The family hardly made it every month. But after her marriage, her parents live a retiree life, everyday is just sing-song, talk-cock, play mahjong! They can even afford to go overseas for holidays every now and then.

All thanks to Mr Son-in-law. Mary's parents moved in with her who is staying in a terrace house and her brother who previously were working as a civil servant, quit and joined the bro-in-law company, is now staying in Condo.

We can say that her marriage brought her family out of poverty, a total change in their life. I don't know if she really love him but to her I think its a super duper good deal.

To me, marrying a guy 16years older is already a big No NO! When I look at him, I'll only find that he look more like my uncle and he won't have the same high energy level as me. Not to even mention a divorcee. Money is tempting huh~ But I simply can't accept the fact that I'll have to face somebody I don't love for the rest of my life, torturing!

I once told somebody "money can't buy love" but this somebody replied with, "without money, where do you get the flowers, presents or even wedding band."

2weeks ago, theres an article on the Sunday newpaper about Cosmetic Surgery. This rich tai-tai in her 40s or 50s, spent $200k (if I remembered correctly) on cosmetic surgery from head to toe. And her main reason for doing so?

Her husband is too rich, so rich that everyday theres so many girls out there throwing themselves at him... She did Liposuction, whitening jabs, botox, many other fat burning surgery and so on. (Lipo is a very painful and disgusting surgery.) She kept herself updated with the latest cosmetic technologies available so that she'll be the 1st to try them out. And mind you, she is only Size 6. Even smaller size than me! @!!$@#@%@#

She lives in fear everyday, fear of losing her husband to the younger and attractive girls out there. So what if she lives a luxury tai-tai life?

The most important factor is to be Happy, nothing is more important than living a happy life.

Life is short, live it happily.
