I just realise that I haven't been touching this blog for days. No time really.

I thought I'll be able to proceed on to the GL side but this supposed to be very "PRO" Ap girl turns out to be a disappointment for me. She's not very good in using the basic functions of our accounting system Oracle but she knew more on the advance functions which we don't use -_-

The invoices she received last week were left untouched and return to me this week for processing. She was supposed to follow the process when she receive the invoices, but she didn't. She keep them outstanding till this week I did all the clearing up. She who seems "very busy" was caught on the msn with 4 active conversation by me. She is smart enough to appear really pro in front of my bosses while in actual fact I haven't experience her "Pro-ness".

Her previous experience as a auditor from Ernst & Young did help her alot. As in she knows the compliance to SOX and many other important internal process stuff, which got her this job easily. But I'm the one doing most of the work for her, all she need to do is to validate and run reports. She leave on time everyday while I stay. I can foresee the 1st two months after I left she'll be deadmeat. Or maybe abit better if she is able to cut down most of the manual work. But still there's lots of stuff we need to do manually.

The most frustrated thing happened yesterday. On wed, she volunteered to apply payment in the system so I gladly pass her the whole stack of invoices. So she slowly slowly apply. Yesterday morning, she passed me most of the invoices which I passed her and asked me to apply payment instead. I think she realised she got alot of stuff on her table pending for validation so she decided to pass the things I can do for her back to me so that she can SKIVE. I'm so angry yesterday but I've to maintain this normal facial expression.

In short, she appears to be the supervisor who knows all but yet I'm helping her all this while behind the curtains. Luckily my Fc knows that I'm capable and he knows what I'm doing, so I'm still quite happy about this. Not forgetting my favourite colleague, she knows what I'm going thru and I know she wanna help me with this situation :)

Alright shall go back to finish my stuff and throw it back to her :D
