Just came back from brunch at Tiong Bahru with my family. The Bah Kut Teh is tasty and much cheaper than the one the Hongkong officer went.

Last sunday, I watched The fast and the furious, Toyko drift. Hmmm.... Not bad a movie but just that there wasn't much storyline. I was crazy about their drift and cars. Woo... And the girls were far too hot... I would rate it 3.5 stars out of 5.

Then Boy and I made our way down from The Cathay to Heeren but decided to tour the Istana as it was open to the public. We were quite a "mountain turtle", as a Singaporean we have never been to the Istana before. To satisfy my curiousity he agreed to walk the long long route into the Istana during that humid day :D

Actually there was nothing much in there, just some greenery, golf course, fountains and ponds. There were kids rolling on the grass, Bangalas sitting around chatting, maids gathering and many foreigners touring.

* So many peeps *

* He is unhappy 'coz I somehow forced him to walk the long-D with me that makes him sweat like mad. Haha!! *

Oh. Last night did u watch the 2nd fireworks display for the fireworks festival? I watched it at the park beside Cosy Bay with my parents and little brother. WOO! I must say its really captivatingly pretty. Ah... Now I feel the pinch of missing the 1st display by Italy. I simply love fireworks. I can roughly remember I watched 3 of the last year's fireworks.

After that we proceed to our grocery shopping. Yeah! I bought a carton of Thailand Vitamilk, traditionally packed in glass bottles. Its delicious and uber cheap. It cost only $12 for a carton whereas the coffeeshop and 7-11 sell it at $1.50 per bottle. Of course, my lil bro and I stocked up our tidbits inventory with some chocolates, sweets and crackers.

* This is the one *

That's not the end. We left the supermarket with many big bags and made our way to Geylang for our Dimsum supper. *slurppss* I highly recommend this shop named "Wan Tou Shi", its a cantonese name, meaning Found Food. Its always crowded with alot of people if u did pass by and notice that shop. We had those common Dimsum like prawn dumplings, chee cheong fun, pork ribs, etc... Thumbsup!

Alrighty. Gaming time. Happy National Day to all :P

* I just can't settle down *
